Quebec Invites Over
1,800 Candidates
Through PSTQ
Quebec has officially resumed issuing immigration invitations after a brief pause, offering new hope to skilled workers, technicians, healthcare professionals, and exceptional talent planning to settle in Canada.
On December 4, 2025, the Quebec government issued over 1,870 invitations for permanent selection under the Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ). Candidates were selected from the Arrima Expression of Interest pool.
This drawing clearly shows that Quebec is actively looking for workers across multiple industries, especially outside the Montreal region.
What is PSTQ (Quebec Skilled Worker Program)?
The Programme de sรฉlection des travailleurs qualifiรฉs (PSTQ) is Quebec’s main immigration pathway for foreign workers who want to obtain a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) and later apply for Canadian Permanent Residence.
Unlike federal programs, Quebec:
-
Selects candidates independently
-
Gives strong importance to French language skills
-
Prioritizes in-demand occupations
